Ordered the Empennage Kit (Tail)

Today, I placed my order for the RV-7 tail kit. The option I chose was with the electric trim and not the manual. I thought it would just be easier to wire an electric cable at the end than to work with cables and pulleys for the manual trim.

I want to build the plane with less intricacy as I have some time constraints being in the USA. I also realize that I will not be compromising on the quality of the build, as this is going to be the plane I will be flying across the continents to Pakistan.

And so I paid the 25% on it, which was $620. Now the time to wait — about 4 months is what they said. These large wait times are supposedly due to the large number of people stuck at home during COVID and building planes.

In that regard, I also must start thinking about ordering my wing or the fuselage kit soon since the wait times on those are about 6 months (plus shipping).

I also need to now form my little workshop, which is from now on called the "Uran Khatola Factory (UKF)". I am looking to move into a house that has a nice garage, as I will not only need the space but my air tools will make noise. I don't want to disturb the neighbours.
